Service Guidelines

Members are required to earn 50 service points by May 6, 2022. (1 hour of service = 10 points; 30 mins of service = 5 points) Members are responsible for documenting their service activities in their service log, and submitting this documentation to Mrs. Vinson. (Easiest way to submit your service log is to take a pic and e-mail it to me.) Members can document ANY volunteer service that they participate in (projects with church groups, helping a coach clean up after a practice, mentoring or coaching younger children, etc.), as long as they can get a project representative to sign their chart and verify their service. Community members and groups periodically contact me asking for student volunteers to help with an event. I will list those events below and also send out a monthly mass email notifying members about upcoming service opportunities. If you want to volunteer for a service event, it is up to you to contact the project representative listed beside the event to arrange your participation. Also just FYI, any activity for which you get paid does not count as a volunteer service activity.
